Trash & Recycling Services
Comprehensive waste management and recycling guidelines for Lakeshore Gardens residents.
Regular trash is collected every Tuesday.
Lakeshore Gardens has a Master Contract with Republic Services and a dedicated Service Representative for our community.Â

Please call the LSG office at 760-438-4069 to change the size of your trash, recycling cans, or to request pick-ups for bulky items, electronic waste, or hazardous materials.Â

Bulky Items: Free pick-up 3 times a year (up to 5 items each)
Electronic Waste: Curbside pick-up call LSG office 24 hr prior. or Envirogreen drop-off 858-800-1272
Hazardous Materials: Seniors/Disabled may be eligible for free home pick-up.
Additional Recycling:Â Residents can place flattened cardboard (pieces no larger than 2' x 3') and additional volumes of mixed recyclable materials contained in paper bags or cardboard boxes adjacent to their recycling cart on their regularly scheduled collection day for free.

Cart Placement
Sorting Your Waste
- Place in street by 6 a.m. (or after 6 p.m. day before).
- Handle facing away from the street.
- Lids must be closed completely.
- Remove by midnight on collection day.
Recycle: Paper, glass, metal, plastics #1-5. No plastic bags or styrofoam.
Organics: Yard waste, food waste, and food-soiled paper.
No palm fronds (non compostable)
Landfill: All other household trash and palm fronds.
Street Sweeping
Street sweeping takes place on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7:00–10:00 a.m. Please keep vehicles off the streets during these hours.
Holiday Schedule
Collection is delayed by one day if New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas fall on a Monday. Check the Schedule Calendar for confirmation.
