Our Mission
The LSG Social Activities Committee (LSGSA) mission is to foster activities, programs and events that deliver recreation, entertainment, fun and value to the community. “We’re all about the fun.”
LSGSA coordinates a variety of activities and events and provides a range of services.
 
Ongoing daily and/or weekly activities include:

• Arts and Crafts Programs, including acrylic and watercolor painting and crafts

• Card games, including Poker, Texas Hold’em, Bridge, Hand and Foot and Samba

• Other games, including Mah Jongg, Cribbage, Dominoes, and other board games

• Physical activity, including Yoga, Zumba, water aerobics, walking, bicycle riding and golf

• Bingo

 
Events Throughout the Year
Events are held throughout the year. Monthly events include the Sunday Breakfast Club, held on the first Sunday of each month, and the Residents’ Mixer, co-sponsored with management on the last Friday of each month.
Some of our largest annual events include the Fourth of July celebration, Casino Night, the Ladies Luncheon, and the Men’s BBQ. We also host special events throughout the year, including Super Bowl Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Christmas tree lighting, and a community Thanksgiving dinner.
 
Community Services
The LSGSA also provides services that help make Lakeshore Gardens a great place to live. This includes our monthly Breeze magazine, our website, and our library.
 
Please Join Us!
Every resident is automatically a member of the Lakeshore Gardens Social Activities Committee. Residents are invited to attend the monthly meeting to discuss, help plan and volunteer for activities and events.
Meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Sunset Room.
